Every year, companies use Earth Day to announce pledges to fight climate change. This is important and urgent work: we have only a decade to halve global carbon emissions, and businesses have a key role to play.
But most folks don’t see what happens after the press release—the hard work by climate teams to make these pledges a reality. The path is convoluted and requires influencing teams and people across far-flung organizations. These teams are re-thinking the way their entire businesses run; it’s not for the faint of heart.
