Jackson, Jr. is Professor of Law, Co-Director of the Institute for Corporate Governance and Finance, and Director of the Program on Corporate Law and Policy at New York University’s School of Law. He became Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 2017 and served in that role until February 2020.
