Today, we’re announcing an expansion of our European leadership team: Stefan Blumenthal has joined Watershed as Head of Central Europe, and Etienne du Chaffaut has joined as Head of Southern Europe.
European businesses are global sustainability leaders, and face increased regulatory momentum and market demand for climate action. Watershed’s growing presence in Europe will support companies as they move from emissions reporting to measurable carbon reduction.
Stefan Blumenthal, Watershed’s Head of Central Europe has over 15 years of experience in sales and business development in the tech and SaaS industries. Before joining Watershed, Stefan was the Vice President of SaaS Sales for Central and Northern Europe at Zeotap, where he played a key role in growing revenue and expanding client relationships across multiple verticals. Under his leadership, Zeotap experienced a significant increase in its market share in the region, particularly in the telecom and retail sectors.
"I’m excited to join the Watershed team and play a role in driving the company’s expansion across Central Europe. I look forward to working alongside such a talented group to bring innovative solutions to our clients and contribute to Watershed’s continued success in the region,” says Blumenthal.
Stefan is based in Berlin, Germany and holds a Diplom in Business Administration from University of Cologne.
Etienne du Chaffaut, Watershed’s Head of Southern Europe has a strong background in sales leadership. Before joining Watershed, Etienne held senior sales roles at Gartner and Zscaler, where he led market expansion efforts and managed high-value accounts. He was pivotal in developing and executing sales strategies that resulted in increased market penetration and significant revenue growth in Southern Europe.
"Watershed's focus on sustainability and empowering businesses to take meaningful action towards a lower-carbon future really resonates with me. I’m eager to leverage my experience to build strong relationships with our customers and support them in their journey to sustainability while growing Watershed’s footprint across Southern Europe," says du Chaffaut.
