Our mission is to remove 500 megatonnes—equal to 1% of total global emissions—of carbon dioxide equivalent from Earth’s atmosphere every year by 2030. It’s an ambitious goal and a necessary one: we’re living in the critical decade for global climate action.
Through our customers, Watershed is now managing an estimated 1 gigaton of carbon dioxide equivalent—more than the total annual emissions of Japan. That’s a lot of decarbonization potential.
