Why it’s time for more accessible global emissions data

Date
Time

Sustainable business decisions depend on having access to high quality climate data. Too often businesses are forced to rely on regional emissions data sets which don’t reflect their actual supply chains or operations. Join us on June 5th, as we bring together experts from Amazon’s Sustainability Data Initiative, PCAF and SBTi for a unique and important conversation about the urgency of this problem and ways we can address it. Plus: We’ll detail a new initiative that will help to increase the accessibility of globally representative emissions data for all.

We’ll cover:

  • How one company used country-specific data to identify opportunities to reduce their supply chain emissions by up to 30% through strategic procurement shifts.
  • The differences between emissions factor databases that can be overlooked in selecting your data sources.
  • A special announcement aimed at helping ensure global companies and organizations have the data they need to make informed procurement decisions.
